Datuk Jema Khan was first appointed to the Board as the Executive Chairman and Chief Executive Officer on 8 August 2017. Upon
retiring from his role as Chief Executive Officer, he was re-designated as a Non-Independent Non-Executive Chairman on 1 June 2021,
and was re-elected as Director on 29 November 2022.

Datuk Jema Khan has more than 30 years of experience in the timber industry. As CEO at Jawala Corporation, he had been
responsible for the overall direction and management of the company. He had also previously served as Deputy Chairman in Jaycorp
Bhd., a furniture manufacturing business, as well as the Chairman of Progressive Insurance Bhd.

In his current role at Jawala Inc., Datuk Jema ensures that there is mentorship, unity of purpose within the Board and that the Board
engages in productive discussions on strategic, tactical, business, financial and planning issues of the Group.

Datuk Jema Khan graduated from City University, London, with a Bachelor of Science in Economics and Accountancy in October 1985.
